Our Approaches

Interactive Theater

At Dramatic Results we write scripts that capture your current workplace reality and your vision of your immediate future, then bring in our team of professional actors to help put your vision in action. We can do design and delivery, or create a “plug-in” scene with our actors for your HR/L&D people to deliver/facilitate. Available live via streaming platform or in person, or as video.

Our Interactive Theater process:

  1. We collaborate with your HR or Training and Development team to:

    1. gather info about your organizational culture, dynamics, and learning goals through interviews, focus groups,  and other research

    2. write scripts based on our data and your learning goals.

  2. Our team of professional actors/trainers/facilitators enacts the scenes, giving your participants the opportunity to reflect on how things are now, and explore how things could be different.

  3. After each scene, our expert facilitators guide participants in discussing issues raised in the scenes: the difference between intentions and impact, multiple ways of understanding others’ actions, and alternatives for how they can interact with each other.

Applied Improvisation*

Dramatic Results’s Applied Improvisation trainings give people energizing “aha!” experiences with lasting impact. We help individuals and organizations improve communication, increase engagement, foster creativity, strengthen connections, streamline decision-making processes, manage change, and raise their basic level of positivity.

*Warning: may result in enjoyable and enduring team building!

Our Applied Improvisation process:

  1. We partner with your HR or L&D team to identify learning objectives and discuss best-fit activities. If more data is needed, we conduct interviews and/or focus groups.

  2. We play! We conduct a range of activities, each debriefed to explore organizational relevance and applicability. Learning focuses on:

    1. Participant self-awareness

    2. Organizational processes

    3. Respectful and productive communication

    4. Innovation and creativity
